Bharathi Cement launch in Andhra Pradesh capital
Hyderabad, Nov 17 : Bharathi Cement today hosted its branch launch here today.
Addressing at the launch function, Company Marketing Director M Ravinder Reddy, said the company has commenced its commercial operations to
cater to South Indian market.
Bharathi Cement has invested in building a state-of-art technology plant in Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh capable of producing five million tonne of
cement.
The first phase to supply 2.50 million tonnes is ready for production and the second phase of 2.50 million tonnes will be ready for production in the last
quarter of 2010.
A Robotic Lab had been built in the factory to analyse the raw material to make sure cement was of superior quality.
The cement mill in the plant is the largest in the world with a capacity of 360 tonnes per hour grinding capability, he claimed.
The company has invested in another first with the cement to be packed using Austrian technology that allowed no pilferage of any kinds and was
eco-friendly.
The company has tied up with RTTP for Fly Ash and Slag from Jindal Steels, Tornagal,Karnataka.
Apart from cement manufacturing, the company also is expected to be present in Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) segment.
He said it would focus on Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala and part of Maharashtra in the initial phase and progressively increase
their India presence through organic and inorganic growth.
